As someone who took literal ages to get my website published (turns out I can’t DIY my website), I learned the hard way how tiring it is to not have one place for my people to land. Having to create or update one-off links and reroute them to other one-off links grew old real quick (and did nothing for my street search engine cred).
The biggest lesson I learned is this:
Your website shouldn’t just work. It should work overtime for you so you don’t have to feel the pressure to show up everywhere all at once. Because, frankly, you probably have better things to do. Like that hobby you said you’d try whenever you “found the time.”

Depending on the service, the time of work could take between 2-8 weeks. As a result, I’d recommend working backwards from when you want to launch your work and then decide when you want your copy completed. Please note: since I only focus on words and not actually designing, you’ll also need to account for time to design your website/sales page/etc. before it goes live.

Part of the research and discovery phase of every project involves donning my detective hat and taking cues from our conversations and your content online to understand how to write and sound like you. This is a huge part of my copywriting process. With every project, I take the client’s voice and values into account to write copy that sounds like you.

Sadly, I can’t design to save my life. However, I do wireframe and offer creative direction suggestions for your website copy and sales copy so that a designer (or you if you’re DIYing) can design it with ease. I also have a roster of designer friends who I can refer you to!
