EMBODY CREATIVE CO.:

A social media manager and strategist extraordinaire who can wield social media as smoothly as any one of her (millions of) hobbies. She instantly feels like a bestie the moment you meet, and is on a mission to make social media feel like a fun place to be on the internet (finally!)

  • When Brooke first reached out to work together, she was struggling to articulate a brand that felt like her, as opposed to a β€œFrankensteined version” of all of her favourite brands.

    In Brooke’s own words:

    β€œI felt like I had a vision, but I didn't know how to get the right information out of my brain and down on paper to paint a clear picture of who I wanted to be and who I wanted my brand to be in the world.”

  • When we started the project, Brooke didn’t yet have any web or sales copy, so we were starting with a fresh canvas. I started out my creating a brief brand messaging guide for Brookeβ€”this was prior to The Brand Magβ€”which details Embody Creative Co’s brand values, positioning in the market, voice, and unique identifiers.

    Brooke’s dream clients have been winging social media without any real strategy and have struggled to stay consistent with it, which has caused serious burnout and a desire to light a match to their content calendar. They constantly feel uninspired and, as a business owner, feel like their pay (and worth) and tied to their social media output.

    To position Embody Creative Co. uniquely in her industry, we first doubled down on the term β€œembody” to anchor the brand’s positioning. Brooke is a firm believer that social media should be a fun place to be, so we landed on the positioning that when your brand feel embodied, a.k.a. rooted in the everyday activities that bring you joy, showing up on social media can actually feel effortless.

    From there, I created web copy & sales page copy that leads with Brooke’s personalityβ€”warm, encouraging, and just that little bit cheekβ€”so the Embody Creative Co. website felt like a true reflection of who Brooke is and how she wants people to feel the second they land on her little cozy corner of the internet.

  • In Brooke’s own words:

    β€œI feel so crystal clear on my brand, my brand messaging, my tone, my voice, etc. Not only is it sooooooo much easier for me to show up in my brand but I'm actually so excited to do so and having so much fun!!!! The brand persona we created and the copy you've written gets me so fired up because every single word just feels SO RIGHT! I'm so relieved that all of my website copy is done and that it's not my half-assed DIY job! That it's actually intentional copy that continues to inspire me in the work that I do and just in showing up authentically in my brand! I'm also so grateful to have connected with you and that I get to be witness to the magic you create!”

    Not going to lie, this really got me πŸ₯Ί:

    I don't even think I truly understand the full impact yet. I think we had talked about this when I finished the brand questionnaire but I feel like just filling that out unearthed so much that I didn't know was inside of me. For me, my brand is very much an extension of me as a person and so going through this process felt like far more than just a project for my business. I felt like the process of sharing so much of myself and then having you create something that mirrored all of it back to me so beautifully changed the way I see myself and my relationship with my identity. I feel so much more confident in myself and my brand and I feel like this process healed a lot of my identity struggles.
